📘 What You Receive in Remi’s Pack

✔️ Portrait: A striking visual of Atlanta’s regal fashion father

✔️ Bio: His rise from ’90s styling rooms to Creative Director stardom

✔️ Dedicated Theme Song: A blend of velvet bass, runway drums & Southern sermon cadence

If elegance ever decided to stand up, strike a pose, and deliver a sermon…it would sound exactly like Remington LaRue.

At 52, Remi is the silver-crowned maestro of Atlanta’s queer fashion world. He is a man who glides, commands, teases, and testifies all in a single breath. He began as a wardrobe assistant in the ’90s, styling R&B royalty under hot studio lights, and rose to become Creative Director of The Canvas Collective, an artistic sanctuary for queer creators, trans models, and designers of color.

These days he is a legend with a whisper-soft step and a voice that can quiet a whole room. And when he steps onstage in an ivory tuxedo with that midnight-crimson lapel?

Baby, the atmosphere changes!

Remington doesn’t just host shows, he consecrates them.

💛 Aunt Georgia Lee’s Note on Remi

Remington LaRue walked onto my page like a grown man with history behind his eyes and couture stitched into his soul!

He’s the kind of character who doesn’t knock—he arrives. With a voice dipped in molasses and mischief. With a presence that says, “Baby, straighten your hem, destiny is watching.”

Remi carries Atlanta on his shoulders:

the old juke joints

the underground fashion halls

the queer kids who needed someone to say “you’re brilliant”

the designers who stitched their dreams in the dark

He is style with spirit.

Wisdom wrapped in satin.

A griot of glamour.

And in Yazmine Wolfe, he found a muse worth fighting for—a little wild, a little brilliant, a little messy. The kind of woman who sketches lingerie on napkins and brings trouble with her like perfume.

Remington is the one who told her,“

Art ain’t supposed to behave. Let it bite.”

When he takes the mic in The Little Red Matrix?

It’s not just narration.

It's benediction.

It's ceremony.

It's gospel.
